I’ll be answering a controversial question today and that would be if Christians should be Pro-choice or Pro-life but before I dive straight into the answer I’ll be answering a few questions to aid answering this question.
What does it Mean To Be Pro-Choice?
First and foremost Pro-choice is a group of people who believe in the autonomy of women including the right to abort pregnancies.
According to an article by Planned Parenthood found at https://www.plannedparenthood.org/learn/teens/ask-experts/can-you-explain-what-pro-choice-means-and-pro-life-means-im-supposed-to-do-it-for-a-class-thanks ‘Generally, people who identify as pro-choice believe that everyone has the basic human right to decide when and whether to have children.
Individuals who are Pro-choice equally believe that a foetus most especially at the first trimester of the pregnancy is only a mass of cells.
What is Abortion?
According to Merriam-Webster dictionary, Abortion is ‘the termination of a pregnancy after, accompanied by, resulting in, or closely followed by the death of the embryo or fetus: such as a: spontaneous expulsion of a human fetus during the first 12 weeks of gestation of an induced expulsion of a human foetus.
What is The Other School of Thought On the Autonomy Of Women?
We have the Pro-life who believe every pregnancy ought to be kept, they believe every pregnancy becomes a life right from conception which means every foetus deserves a right to live regardless of the circumstances which might have led to the pregnancy.

What Does The Bible Say About Lives in general?
The book of Jeremiah 1:5 says “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations”.
Lets equally look at Genesis 25:23 where the Lord revealed the destinies of Esau and Jacob to Rebecca
“And the LORD said unto her, Two nations are in thy womb, and two manners of people shall be separated from thy bowels; and the one people shall be stronger than the other people, and the elder shall serve the younger”.
Looking at the bible contextually, a life begins even before conception. God never allows any child to come into this world by accident because God knows what each child is destined to become on earth.
In fact, scientifically there is a belief that a foetus heartbeat begins around 5-6 weeks of the pregnancy .
Equally, as Christians, our bodies are not necessarily our own. The book of Romans 12:1 says “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service”.
Your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit and the good news is Christ lives inside us.1 Corinthians 6:19 says “Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own;” (The New International Version)

I’ll Love To Encourage Someone
If at any point you’ve had an abortion God is not angry with you once you have asked for mercy, neither does he hold any record of this sin. Trust me he is a good father and he has forgiven you. There is therefore no condemnation for anyone who is in Christ as seen in Romans 8:1.
If you are not ready to have a child as a single person then its best to practice Abstinence.

If Christianity minded tits own business, and obey Holy Commands, the world would not be in the peril it is in. It is astonishing that God does not get involved in the free will of humans, and yet Christians believe they have the right to remove another’s free will. Christianity is doomed because of it’s greed and lies.

This is interesting. I like the point that you made that states that our bodies are not our own. Yes, God formed us and knows us before we enter into the world.
