Christmas is coming

Who smells Christmas because over here, I do. The way I’m fantasising ehn ,about this year’s Christmas is on another level, yet I don’t have so much plans for my Christmas this year. I have one plan for most of my friends however, which is gifting. Christmas is the season of love, I’m saying so because, Christmas signifies the birth of Jesus, therefore , it was out of the love God had for mankind that he gave Jesus who is our messiah to the world`

If you’ve got gifting plans for your loved ones and friends this season, then I believe this post should be helpful, equally if you’ve got no plans giving to your friends , I’ll strongly urge you to remember the less privileged during this period, because they need our love.

This post basically is gift ideas for anyone who’s confused on what to give;

Food: Most of our friends would definitely have so much to eat and drink for Christmas. Lets think about our friends in the IDP camps, the orphanage homes and in the prison. You could cook for these people or take raw food stuffs for them there, and I bet you’ll put a smile on a lot of people’s faces that day.
Hand made cards: you can express your love for your loved ones with those magical words which would lite a smile on their faces , because we ought to show love in the best way we can with soothing words from the heart.
Money: This can be tricky, many people don’t appreciate money, but I mean it’s the intentions that really matter and not the amount. So honey, follow your mind and you can gift that money to someone special. If you barely know anyone that might need money, just remember the orphanage home, nothing’s too ever too little for them.
Matching outfits; You could get matching tee-shirt for everyone at home , or a tee which has everyone’s name behind it, and trust me that would be soo cute , I bet everyone would love that .
Christmas cake: This is just something you would share with everyone. It could be either cup cakes , as well as a full sized cake with a Merry Christmas written on it, and don’t forget to add the Christmas wine with the cake.
A Christmas photoshoot: Basically, this is only for those with a camera. This is definitely on my bucket list when I get a camera. It would be so adorable , doing a free shoot for everyone , as well as editing their pictures , either before Christmas , to be delivered on Christmas day, or on Christmas day, just anyone you are more comfortable with should be your option.
Lunch out : There are a couple of restaurants you definitely might not be able to afford if you bank account ti ni lazzdent (lol if you aren’t so buoyant). But check out a few that are around , and if you think that’s beyond your capability , you could take your loved ones for ice-creams , or even a picnic , I think I like the idea of a picnic better , and like I said earlier, it’s the intentions that matter at the end of the day.
Christmas decor: Especially if when your family doesn’t take Christmas decorations seriously, you can take it upon yourself to decorate the house for Christmas, most especially with a merry Christmas decoration hanging around the house.
Books: This is basically for book lovers over here,a book your friend has being itching to read would be a perfect gift item. This equally apply to planners and journals for 2019, therefore if you’ve got friends in love with planners , gift them one in their favourite colour.
Prayer letters: Silver or gold you’ve got not , but you can use canva or an amazing app to decorate a beautiful prayer letter which has got an amazing prayer point for all your specials friends , bearing in mind once again that it’s the intentions that matters this most .
Photo book: this could be highlight of your year with that one person that has made your year special. You could print out pictures and memories of your year with that friend or with your family, describing how these memeories you made with them, made your year a delightful one and I bet you , this would be a memorable gift.
The bible: There are lots of fancy bibles which make perfect gifts for friends , and this would be an amazing gift for ones prayer life . If it’s a male , you could get him a cute male bible which has so much in it to talk about the male gender and this applies vice versa. Equally you could get the small copies of the Gideons bible or any accessible bible and share it with the less privileged around us , this is a form of sharing the word of God with our loved ones.
