Life Savers

Hello sunshine welcome to the beautiful year of 2020. I pray this year would be blessed for you.

This is officially my first post for the year

🥂🥂🥂🥂🥂🥂🥂🥂🥂🥂🥂🥂🥂🥂🥂🥂

This post is an highlight of the favourite products and items which I used in 2019 that were of great benefit for me of which I’ll still be sticking to this year.

Power Appliances

i. Miniso Power Bank : this for me was the best power bank ever . It is super light , quite handy and it lasts real good . Of all the power banks I have gotten this definitely tops the chart for me. I got it for about N6,000 from Miniso.

ii. Mini Rechargeable Fan: For the hot and humid weather this super useful mini fan went everywhere with me. Literally every souvenir shop i know sells this between the range of N1,000 – N3,500

Skincare

i. Sun protection: The Black girl sunscreen from casabella was my one of my favourite as it is SPF 30, it leaves no white cast, although I feel its a bit thick and it makes me sweaty. It cost almost N9,000 or less from any Casabella outlet.

I also joined the Mira sunscreen bandwagon. It is SPF 40, it’s super light weight for me, however some may feel like its small for the price. It costs N10, 000 from the Mira skincare page on instagram.

ii. Ghana Shea butter: Especially during the harmattan this was definitely my bestie and for some weird reasons my hair loved shea butter a whole lot last year. This was equally an amazing lip balm as it has always been really moisturizing. I got the Ghanaian shea butter in the market for N2,000

iii. Sheet masks: This was my fave for my pamper days and I got my sheet masks from any instagram that sold it between the prices of

N1,000 – N3,500

iv. Rose Water: My love for rosewater being my toner grew last year . Rosewater never disappointed me as a toner and it is always hydrating on my face. Some of my favourite rose waters in no order of priority ;

1. The Arami rosewater, it costs N6,500

2. The Mira Toner with rosewate, it costs N7,500

3. Ghunu effect rosewater, it costs N2,500

4.Bath Kandy rose water, costs N2,500

I purchased all these from their various instgram pages.

APPS

i. Cowrywise: This was my savings app especially for saving those little extra change.

ii. You Bible: This was great for my daily devotion .

iii. My Calendar: This helped in tracking my menstrual periods accurately.

iv. Gratitude: This app helped me take my gratitude habit more seriously. Basically I always wrote what I was grateful for daily and the good part of it is that I can always go back to read them during my down moments.

Journal: Honestly any fancy Jotter can pass as a journal.

Thank you for reading and I’ll see you in my next post .

Ps: All photos were taken by me .
